South African filmmaker Jason Hearn has spent the last two and half years documenting many of the country’s top surfers riding thousands of perfect waves all over the coast of the African continent and the Indian Ocean islands.
The fruits of this labour of love — The Africa Project — is a surf film that will stoke surfers and adventure lovers as the intrepid band of adrenaline chasers take the path less travelled to score great waves in exotic and often testing conditions.
23 National Teams and Over 150 Competitors will gather in Miraflores, Lima, Peru
The International Surfing Association (ISA) is proud to announce all the teams and athletes that will be competing in Miraflores, Lima, Peru for the 2013 ISA World StandUp Paddle (SUP) and Paddleboard Championship.
The 23 National Teams that have confirmed their participation include Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Denmark, El Salvador, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Tahiti, USA and Venezuela.
