Here is a normal morning in the life of Mason Ho. Wake up, run out the door, grab a board, drive down the road and surf.
This specific morning he paddles out to one of his favorite surf spots loaded with sharp sea urchin filled rocks. We left the clips running long plus all audio so you can witness somewhat firsthand how he deals with it all.

A couple days ago Mason Ho surfed his favorite childhood spot Val’s Reef. Located on the inside of Sunset Beach, it’s a tricky wave to ride with weird dead spots, a random shallow reef shelf and backwash.
