“Several pro’s out this day. A bunch of folks are in town, I guess. Doesn’t surprise me since a bunch of Hawaii events were shut down as well as the Santa Cruz pro. I would not have recognized any of them, but was listening to conversations around me and after some research, am fairly certain this is Kolohe. Lots of red bull and hurley logos. My guess is guys are coming here to surf Maverick’s and the lane is sometimes a warm up for that. Could be wrong. Seems like guys are often on boards they don’t need to be and people often comment on that in some of my other videos, but it’s a good place to try them out and really who cares what you ride if you are having fun.” – Scott Balland
