Wilson spent countless hours getting the Bel Air back into shape, only to have it stolen in 1983. The cops eventually found the Bel Air, but with the engine and transmission removed. Even without those key parts the Bel Air proved too much for crooks to resist, and the car was stolen again in 1984.
