Actually there&#8217;s 29 registered windsurfing and surf spots on the west coast of Thisted Municipality &#8211; from the tip of Agger Tongue in the south to Hanstholm in the north.<\/p>\n<p>This makes the area ideal for windsurfing and kitesurfing wave performance, first and foremost &#8212; but the area is quite excellent for surfing.<\/p>\n<p>No-one seems to know where the name &#8220;Cold Hawaii&#8221; came from.
