The three-day, non-race festival ride is the second in a series of annual events aimed at reviving a remote mountain-bike Mecca\u00e2\u20ac\u201da hotbed of marathon racing during the late \u00e2\u20ac\u02dc80s and through the \u00e2\u20ac\u02dc90s\u00e2\u20ac\u201dthat as little as three years ago, was off limits to those on two wheels.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Eighty miles from the nearest supermarket, Lajitas isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t your average mountain-bike town. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s far from average for any town, really.
