Michael Kelly returns to New Zealand on Thursday to drive in the 2009 Union International Montoniquie World Grand Prix Hydroplane Championship, driving &#8220;The Boss.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Kelly is currently in 7th place with 127 points going into the final weekend of racing.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Boss,&#8221; hadn&#8217;t been racing on the GP circuit in the past 3 years and ran into some mechanical problems during the first weekend of competing.\u00c2\u00a0 According to Kelly, he lost the cowling in his first run but finished 2nd in the re-start.\u00c2\u00a0 In the next race, a gear box went out.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, changes have been made to the boat.\u00c2\u00a0 They plan further testing before the weekend to determine final race set-ups&#8230;\u00c2\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kndo.com\/Global\/story.asp?S=9792083&amp;nav=menu484_4_1\" target=\"_blank\">More info<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>U-13 driver J.
