At the end of February the small village Oravi in the heart of\u00c2\u00a0Finland\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Lake District Saimaa will turn into the meeting place for\u00c2\u00a0ice and snow sailors from all over the world. The reason for the\u00c2\u00a0gathering is the annual World Championship, WISSA (World Ice and Snow\u00c2\u00a0Sailing Association), which now is arranged for the 31st time. There,\u00c2\u00a0over 100 of the World\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s best winter sailors, women and men, will\u00c2\u00a0compete and show their skills on skies and on snowboard.<\/p>\n
Competition will take place in different classes and disciplines. The\u00c2\u00a0classes are: kites, sails and hand held wings. The disciplines for\u00c2\u00a0kite are: course race and the new discipline kite cross, which\u00c2\u00a0consists of three parts: speed race, quick downwind track and a\u00c2\u00a0freestyle race. The disciplines for the other classes are: course race\u00c2\u00a0and short track slalom.<\/p>\n
