However, the top lot of the sale was a 1938 SS Jaguar 2\u00c2\u00bd-litre Drophead Coup\u00c3\u00a9 which sold for an outstanding \u00c2\u00a3100,500.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Despite current travel problems, the sale was a great success and made \u00c2\u00a31,313,000 with the cars selling 93% by lot and 97% by value.
