During a roadtrip the summer of 2015 our friend Karl Oskar suddenly couldn’t remember where we were. We got scared and thought it was because of too much of kiting and dancing. What we didn\u2019t know was that this was the beginning of a long and scary journey.<\/p>\n
That autumn, after more than a year of headaches, balance issues, and sporadic short-term memory losses, doctors discovered that Karl Oskar had a benign, but steadily growing tumor in the middle of his brain. The nightmare hit us all and suddenly he was a kite dancing in a hurricane.<\/p>\n
But he never stopped enjoying life and during the years he have become one of my best friends with enough energy, love and kindness to light up a whole village. I looked in the archives and this film is a tribute about all the adventures we shared leading up to the surgery that saved his life. From Norway to Croatia, a couple of idiots abroad, kiting, dancing, and living life to the max.<\/p>\n
