Liquid Aloha features the Hawaiian duo of Seth Moniz and Zeke Lau as they take on the first swell of the summer. Feeding off of each other, the dynamic here is one of symbiosis, a balance between style and power, of development and patience come to fruition. From hauling a three foot ladder, tripod and pelican case out on a couple surfboards to get the “perfect angle”, to battling traffic beneath cranes on Ala Moana Blvd, to early mornings with the same guava jelly sandwiches 5 days in a row, this video seeks to capture town’s essence, as it is and how it should be.
