{"id":105604,"date":"2015-04-25T09:37:04","date_gmt":"2015-04-25T16:37:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.stokednews.com\/?p=105604"},"modified":"2015-04-25T09:37:04","modified_gmt":"2015-04-25T16:37:04","slug":"skateboard-video-megabiskate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.stokednews.com\/?p=105604","title":{"rendered":"Skateboard Video &#8211; Megabiskate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"first\">Israel Dejene, Founder, Megabiskate:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;By a village situated in the mountains of Addis Ababa, I saw kids sliding down the asphalt with plastic fixed to the underside of their shoes.<\/p>\n<p>As a passionate skater, this inspired me to bring skating to this particularly tough neighbourhood as a way of empowering kids.<\/p>\n<p>As a result \u201cLove in Action\u201d Megabiskate project was born in my heart.<\/p>\n<p>The community includes boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 19 in the Intoto area of Addis Ababa.
