The 2008-09 Adventure Series at Mystic Seaport continues with “Vietnam: By Land and By Sea,†a presentation given by writer, photographer and cruising sailor Bernadette Bernon Thursday, March 19 at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Bernon is the former editor of Cruising World and co-author of Maiden Voyage, a book selected in 1998 by the American Library Association as one of the Best Books for Young Adults. In 2008, the author spent a month exploring Vietnam on land and then chartered a 38-foot sailboat and traced the country’s coast. Bernon will detail her sailing adventure and share her discoveries of Vietnam, its history and people…. Details
