Actress Tanna Frederick remembers the first time she got up on a wave. She was learning to sail and decided on a whim to try surfing as well — one less thing between her and the “amazing playground” the native Iowan had found in the ocean.

USA Cycling announced today its National Team rosters and race schedules for the month of April as its U23, Junior, and Women’s National Team squads will contest a total of 24 races throughout western Europe this month.
Beginning with this weekend’s Triptyque des Monts et Chateaux in Belgium, USA Cycling will host 14 U23 athletes, 6 juniors and 14 women throughout the month of April, providing them with valuable exposure to European racing – a primary factor in the successful development of future world-class cyclists.
