Costa Mesa, CA (September 14, 2009): Rip Curl’s Taylor Knox has teamed up with his longtime trainer, Paul Hiniker, and Koastal Media to release “Surf Exercises”, a DVD aimed to showcase the exact regemine that has earned him the street cred of being one of the fittest surfers on the ASP World Tour.
The workout regimine, demonstrated on Surf Exercises, targets balance as the center piece of advanced strength, speed, and rotational flexibility to not just inspire a more functional body but to make you surf better.
“These types of core strength routines shown in Surf Exercises are what I credit taking my surfing to another level,” stated Taylor shortly before this week’s event at Lower Trestles. “They’ve greatly helped the longevity of my career, and I think it’s incredibly beneficial to anyone trying to improve their surfing or their health in general.”

Malibu, California. September 14, 2009 – The Malibu Surfing Association’s Competition Team emerged victorious at the 2009 MSA Classic. Held in beautiful weather with small, but consistent 1-3′ surf at world-famous First Point, Malibu, the MSA Classic entered over 300 athletes representing surfing clubs from La Jolla to Santa Cruz, the Hawaiian Longboard Federation, the Virginia Longboard Federation, and for the first time a team from Queensland’s Noosa Malibu Club.
