Downhill skateboard racers seem to appreciate the flow of gravity in downtown Ashland.
Building on the success of past events, this year’s Poage Landing Days Southern Fried Cone Contest will attract “some of the fastest guys in the world,” according to organizer and skateboarder Lenny Poage. Judges and participants who have been involved with the race during the previous seven events in Ashland enjoyed the races so much, they lobbied to have the points increased for this year’s runs.
